Presentation of the new treasurer
Meet Michael who took over the office of the treasurer.
Hello collegues of the CIC,
with this first message I would like to introduce myself to you all as the new treasurer of our professional association.
My name is Michael Jordan, I am 42 years young and a certified aircraft-mechanic.
Coming from the north of Germany I discovered, by some hazards, in the year 1999 the canyoning sport and right after that the CEC.
I started and finished my guide training in the year 2001.
Since 2000 I lead a travel agency for active travelling to the Gorges of the Verdon. Among other activities I am specialised in canyoning.
After 9 years of membership without special engagement for the CIC, I was asked to become (what I accepted) and was elected at the last general meeting by the attending members as the new treasurer of the CIC.
I am glad to bring in some of my energy to help to develop the CIC and want to say thank you for your confidence.
